Nonetheless, here are some suggestions from someone who didn’t enjoy the course that much:

Most of the concepts are not hard, they just need to be embedded in your mind as they are the results of conventions, rather than logic or mathematics.
This semester you’ll likely face exams which don’t require constant study, and you’ll be just fine even if you study everything at once right before the exam; accounting is NOT one of those exams. If you can, try to practice a little a couple of times a week, and you’ll be just fine.
Buy the book and practice on the online platform.

Slides are usually more than sufficient, and in the uncommon (but not rare) instance that they are not explanatory, feel free to refer to the book; it is the only one I would recommend buying in the 2nd year.
